There’s something truly sacred about knowing that before you ever drew breath, God saw everything you are meant to be. You were designed with intention, crafted with purpose, created to solve problems and carry light.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, confused, or unsure of what’s next; you’re not broken and you’re not behind, you’re at the point of divine invitation\disruption. That sensation of being unsettled is often a whisper from God. A reminder that the journey of your becoming has begun, and now requires your investment.
Let me walk you through what I’ve come to know for about a decade on the journey of identity and self-discovery.
The Truth About You
You are not a mistake. You are not missing pieces. You were not created halfway.
When He designed you, He placed purpose within you and gave you everything you would need to walk it out. He placed seeds in you: of vision, strength, compassion, creativity, brilliance and those seeds don’t water themselves.
Your becoming (the woman you dream of being) is already within you and seeing that version of you is accessed through process. This process requires investment. Investing time, energy, focus, emotion, intimacy with God, self-reflection, refinement, community and obedience for you to see your desired outcome. When a person is on a weight loss journey, they invest all these resources to achieve and maintain their goals. It’s not for trend or hustle, it’s for manifestation (to see results).
Why You May Be Feeling Stuck
Many of us hit this wall at some point:
You’re doing “life” but not living.
You’re showing up, but not shining.
You’re exhausted, but you can’t explain why.
It’s often because your inner world is yearning for alignment with your true identity. You know there’s more to you, but you feel like something’s blocking the path.
Here’s the truth that may sting, but will heal: your breakthrough won’t come without your participation. God is fully invested in your growth but He needs your cooperation.

To get there, you need to Speak, Do, and Call Yourself Up.
3 Steps to Actively Participate in Your Becoming
- Speak — Use Your Words as Weapons of Light
Your words matter. They shape your thoughts, your energy, and your world.
When you make declarations, confessions and affirmations over your life, your words begin to attract the realities aligned with your purpose. You are framing your world by what you say. I once heard it said that “your words are vibrations of attraction.” The Bible agrees: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Proverbs 18:21)
Start each day with intentional declarations and confessions
“I am whole. I am walking in purpose. I am favored. I am wise. I am becoming her.”
Speak it before you see it, that’s how light enters.
- Do — Commit to the Work of Transformation
Speaking opens your eyes and doing moves your feet. You cannot change your life by declarations alone. Once the light comes, you begin to see the parts of you that need healing, learning, strategy, and action.
Taking necessary actions is personal and could include these: Read the book; Take the course; Learn a skill, Book the coaching session, Join the community, Have the hard conversation, Journal your thoughts and process. Do the work even when it’s not glamorous.
- Call Yourself Up — Shed Who You Were to Become Who You Are
Growth requires surrender.
If you want to become her, you must shed the version of you that can’t carry the weight of your next level. It’s not just about external action; it’s about internal obedience. Your calling will stretch your character. Your assignment will confront your attitude. Excellence will demand integrity and follow-through.
Call yourself to a higher standard in how you speak, dress, think, love, serve, show up, and steward your gifts. Be obedient to divine nudges and trust the refining process.
It’s Time to Participate in Your Becoming
Here’s your call to
Stop waiting for clarity before you move.
Stop waiting for perfect conditions before you invest.
Stop waiting for someone to validate you before you believe.
You are already complete. Now become her.
Let the speaking begin, declarations of faith, not fear.
Let the doing begin, actions of intention, not anxiety.
Let the calling up begin, shed the shell of the old you.
