We’ve officially stepped into June, the midpoint of the year. Can you believe how quickly the months have flown by? This is not just another month; it is a sacred moment.
A pause point. A time to breathe, look inward, and ask yourself:
“How far have I come, and how do I want to go forward?”
At the beginning of the year, you had goals, declarations, and dreams; some written down, some whispered in prayer, and others carried quietly in your heart. June is an opportunity to reflect with intention, remember with gratitude, and realign with courage.
Reflection isn’t just about reviewing checkboxes; it’s about connecting with your journey; the progress, the pauses, and even the pivots.
What have you completed that you’re proud of?
What goals are still in motion, waiting patiently for your commitment and energy?
Where have you seen growth, even if it didn’t come with applause?
Are there areas you’ve avoided because of fear, doubt, or fatigue?
Don’t be hard on yourself. Instead, give yourself grace and honest accountability. This isn’t about shaming yourself into action. it’s about lovingly stepping into your truth so you can continue forward with clarity.
Revisit the Promises and Prayers: Think back to the prophetic words, the promises you believe in, and the prayers you’ve whispered in faith. Now is a great time to go back to those declarations and confessions you made at the start of the year.
Which ones have come to pass? Which ones are still unfolding?
There is power in remembering, it fuels your faith and gives you reason to keep moving. Sometimes the breakthrough is not in doing more but in remembering better.
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Luke 1:45”
Celebrate the victories; big and small. And for the promises still unfolding, remain expectant. God is still working.
Reconnect With People: This season is not just about you. It’s about your relationships, your tribe, and the people connected to your purpose.
Who have you not spoken to in a while?
Which friend, colleague, or client might need encouragement?
Who can you thank, pray for, or bless in a small yet meaningful way?
People are navigating life quietly. Your kind words, a check-in message, or even a smile could be the very thing that restores their hope. Reach out. Be present. Be love in motion. And in doing so, you’ll find your own spirit lifted too.
Realign with Purpose and Possibilities: Mid-year is also a time to identify new opportunities; they often come disguised as challenges, new responsibilities, or even discomfort.
Take time to:
– Re-evaluate where you want to evolve, personally, professionally, and spiritually.
– Look around you. What opportunities can you prepare for, lean into, or boldly ask for?
Consider the areas you need support, mentorship, or accountability to help you grow.
Confidence grows when you act in alignment with who you truly are.
The more you walk in your identity, the more you realize that the world needs the real you, not a perfect version, but a present one. You don’t have to do everything alone. You don’t have to have it all figured out. What matters most is your willingness to be honest, present, and intentional.
“Reflection is not about looking back to feel regret.
It’s about pausing long enough to remember how far you’ve come and to decide where you want to go.”
Dear Emerging leader, make June your month of remarkable remembrance.
Reflect. Remember. Realign.
And as you do, don’t just prepare for the second half of the year; prophesy into it.
Declare that you’re becoming bolder, wiser, more self-aware, and more committed to your evolution.
